OUR PHILOSOPHY

Design Thyme, Inc is a full service Custom Kitchen & Bathroom remodeler located at 723 N. Addison Rd, Villa Park Illinois. Design Thyme has been remodeling kitchens and bathrooms in the DuPage, Lake, and Cook county area for the past 13 years, in that time Design Thyme has worked with a broad range of clients and at all stages of life. From newlywed couples wishing to update the look of their first home, expanding family’s that need that extra room for a new born, family’s that wish to age in place and need greater accessibility and access, to those family’s that just wishing to update their present space, changes style, or colors. Design Thyme has developed a Design Build philosophy over the years of working with clients at all different levels and stages of life to help develop their ideas and at the same time keep an eye on the budget. We help guide our clients thru the decision-making process educating them along the way so they are better informed to make the many design decisions and material choices needed to complete their project. Design Thyme breaks the selection process down for our clients to make the decision-making and selection process a little easier. Over the years, we have honed the timing of the building process as well as the selection and order process to make it a smoother and more enjoyable process for our clients.

Is a full-service Design Build remodeling company that focuses on interior and exterior remodeling, with emphasis on Kitchens, Bathrooms, Laundry Rooms, Basements, Home Offices, as well as complete interior makeovers. We like to think of it as giving the interior or exterior of your home a face lift. Just think of the transformation if you were to upgrade all the base, casing, interior doors and then repaint the interior with new colors hang a mirror or picture throw in a couple rugs and voila’ a complete transformation. We focus predominantly on reviving existing homes but also work with home owners and builders on new construction Kitchens and baths. We at Design Thyme take a fresh approach to design, engineer and re-purpose existing space to maximize the benefit to our clients thru a multi-layer approach using both value engineering and a time & budget staged approach to deliver the best project and value to our clients. We can group projects together or divide bigger projects into smaller more manageable projects that can be accomplished over time. Design Thyme will work with you to design a project that you can complete yourself with a little help and direction. This approach can increase your return on investment by adding some sweat equity, this is not for everyone but is a big help for some people with a limited budget and a willingness to get their hands dirty.
